Scheduling and Project Control

Responsible for developed & implemented detailed, logic driven, resource loaded project scheduling, as well as, the company’s planning structure, allowing the measurement of work down to a granular level of detail. This level of detail allowed the work scope to be gauged and data to be gathered for both current work scope inefficiencies and historical information to be used at the estimating phase for future business.
Developed & implemented the reporting system (EVMS reporting) and management tools for gauging the performance of different phases of a job, and the performance of the supervisors and employees on each job.
Established an employee evaluation system/report to ensure accountability as well as compensation for those performing at or above the standards set. All aspects of the schedule, the plan and the reporting function directly tied into the time charging system/software for measuring a job on a real time basis. I interacted directly with the company owners, project management, shop floor supervisors, and customer representatives to make day to day decisions that moved the projects toward completion.
Developed and implemented pre-construction build strategy meeting to assist production in the full understanding of the work scope and customer expectations prior to commencing the work. When this was first implemented we (management, owners and customers) saw an immediate improvement in work inefficiencies. Implemented a post job deconstruct meeting to document the lessons learned and allow management to understand the how’s & whys of the things that went both right and those things that went wrong, thus allowing the company to estimate, engineer and plan better on similar future projects.

Responsible for performing direct web site updates. Confer with management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, and develop content Criteria, or choose solutions. Extensively used HTML5, XML, and CSS3 for web services. Used PHP to edit Magneto core as well as extensions. Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback, and correct problems or refer problems to appropriate personnel for correction. Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards and is Compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems. Learned some Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types. Collaborate with management or users to develop e-commerce strategies and to integrate these Strategies with web sites.
